Dead Man's Wire
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaWestern105 min
In 1977, former real estate developer Tony Kiritsis rigs a dead man’s switch to himself and the mortgage banker he says wronged him, then demands $5 million and a personal apology. Bill Skarsgård is Kiritsis, turning a private grievance into a public hostage crisis as police, reporters, and bystanders gather around the standoff. Gus Van Sant directs the fact-based story with Al Pacino and Colman Domingo in the surrounding orbit, following a case that unfolds under national attention and raises messy questions about revenge, spectacle, and who gets to control the story.
