The Pirates! Band of Misfits

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyFantasy88 min

The enthusiastic Pirate Captain sets out with his ragtag crew to finally beat his rivals and claim Pirate of the Year. Hugh Grant is the gloriously overconfident captain, charging from the high seas to Victorian London as the contest turns into a bigger mess involving a haplessly smitten scientist, a prized dodo, and a dangerous queen. The film’s stop-motion world leans into handmade chaos, with crooked ships, cluttered cabins, and comic detours at every turn, while Martin Freeman and Imelda Staunton join the voice cast.
