Aaron Taylor-Johnson is Ford Brody, a Navy bomb expert who has just reunited with his wife and young son in San Francisco when a growing crisis sends him to Japan and back into the orbit of his estranged father. Bryan Cranston's Joe, still consumed by the disaster that shattered their family years earlier, is chasing answers just as ancient creatures begin surfacing across the Pacific. From Japan to Hawaii to the West Coast, the story moves through quarantines, military mobilization, and collapsing city blocks as Godzilla rises and a clash between massive predators turns San Francisco into the center of the fallout.
