After recently finding God, young hospice nurse Maud takes a private job caring for Amanda, a once-glamorous dancer now weakened by chronic illness. Morfydd Clark is Maud, a self-effacing caregiver whose devotion quickly hardens into a mission to save her patient’s soul. As she settles into Amanda’s plush home, a chance encounter with a former colleague suggests a troubling past and turns Maud’s piety into something more unstable. Faith, guilt, and fixation tighten around her as the boundary between spiritual conviction and personal obsession begins to blur.
