When the police dismiss her account, she opens a private investigation of her own and recruits two unlikely friends to help. Samantha Bond leads the amateur sleuthing trio, with Jo Martin and Cara Horgan alongside her as the inquiry widens through tidy streets, riverside homes, and local routines. What begins as one woman’s insistence that something is wrong soon pulls at the seams of a town determined to keep its calm surface intact.
