An American journalist on assignment in remote Australia joins a river tour that goes badly wrong when an enormous crocodile attacks, leaving the passengers stranded on a tiny mud island as the tide rises. Michael Vartan's outsider is trapped alongside Radha Mitchell and Sam Worthington in the Australian outback, where daylight fades, the water keeps climbing, and the animal circles just beyond reach. What begins as a tourist excursion turns into a scramble for higher ground against a predator that knows the river better than any of them.
