CrimeDrama56 min per episode
In 1990s Tokyo, Ansel Elgort is Jake Adelstein, an American journalist who works the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat and starts tracing the links between routine crime stories, official corruption, and the yakuza. As Jake pushes deeper into the city’s underworld, he finds an uneasy ally in a veteran detective (Ken Watanabe) who knows how little separates the police, the press, and organized crime. Neon nightlife, newsroom pressure, and quiet backroom deals shape the investigation from every side.
