Behind Convent Walls

DramaRomance95 min

Confined to a convent by families eager to protect their inheritances, a group of young women live under tightening discipline as a zealous priest pushes the abbess toward harsher rules. Ligia Branice and Marina Pierro are among the nuns whose private lives drift far outside the order’s official piety, with desire, punishment, and secrecy building inside the cloister. Howard Ross is the priest pressing for stricter control, while a troubled nun’s behavior sparks a scandal the church would rather keep behind closed doors.
