10 Cloverfield Lane

DramaHorrorSci-FiThriller104 min

After a catastrophic car crash, a young woman wakes in an underground bunker with a survivalist who says he saved her from an apocalyptic attack that has made the outside world uninhabitable. Mary Elizabeth Winstead is the shaken stranger trying to piece together what happened, while John Goodman's bunker owner shifts between protective host and something far harder to read. With another survivor in the shelter — John Gallagher Jr. — the story turns on confinement, clashing accounts, and the question of whether the danger is outside, inside, or both.
