After a plane crash leaves them the only survivors, employee Linda Liddle and her boss Bradley Preston are stranded on a deserted island with nothing to rely on except each other. Rachel McAdams is Linda, forced into an uneasy alliance with Dylan O'Brien's Bradley as old resentments and office power dynamics follow them onto the beach. Directed by Sam Raimi, the setup pits basic survival against a sour, darkly funny struggle for control, with their attempt to stay alive gradually becoming a contest of nerves, leverage, and who gets the upper hand when rescue is nowhere in sight.
