Karen Pirie
CrimeDramaMystery86 min per episode
In Scotland, a young detective is handed a cold case that once drew intense attention and then stalled: the murder of a barmaid years earlier, with no conviction and too many loose ends. Karen Pirie approaches the file without much patience for the assumptions that shaped the original inquiry, and the deeper she digs, the more the old investigation starts to look careless, biased, and incomplete. As she re-interviews witnesses and tracks down people whose lives were bent by the crime, the case stops being history and becomes a live source of pressure. Lauren Lyle stars as Karen, pushing through institutional resistance as the past refuses to stay buried.
