Jayeshbhai Jordaar
ComedyDrama124 min
Quiet, non-confrontational Jayesh turns against his own household when he realizes his patriarchal Gujarati family will not accept his unborn daughter. Ranveer Singh is Jayesh, a hesitant son who flees with his pregnant wife, and Shalini Pandey’s Mudra has little choice but to trust him as they go on the run. Back home, Jayesh’s father (Boman Irani) uses family authority and local influence to track them down, turning their escape into a frantic chase. The film wraps its conflict around daughter preference, family control, and a man trying to unlearn the rules he grew up with.
