Ken Park
Drama97 min
In Visalia, California, four teenagers drift through sex, boredom, and violent homes after their mutual acquaintance Ken Park dies by suicide. Each is trapped in a different kind of damage: a boy buckles under his father's control, another hides behind casual hookups, and others move through households where neglect, humiliation, and rage shape daily life. What unfolds is less a mystery about Ken than a chain of intimate crises, as private compulsions and family abuse push these kids toward riskier choices. Directed by Larry Clark and Edward Lachman from a script by Harmony Korine, the film stays close to the raw, escalating pressure inside their lives.
