The Possession

HorrorMysteryThriller92 min

After a young girl brings home an old wooden box from a yard sale, her behavior begins to change in ways her divorced parents can't explain. What starts as a strange attachment to the box turns into violent outbursts, unsettling visions, and signs that something inside it has latched onto her. As her father, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, tries to understand what they're dealing with, the family learns the box may hold a dybbuk, a malicious spirit from Jewish folklore. The more they pry into its history, the worse the presence grows, pushing them toward a desperate attempt to stop it before it fully takes hold of the child.
