Fresh off a suspension for gambling online while on duty, Circle Inspector Vivek Gopinath returns to the force determined to win back his standing. Asif Ali is Vivek, stepping into a case that soon opens onto a 40-year-old murder mystery with no identified victim. In Malakkappara, what begins with a suicide investigation starts pulling threads from an older disappearance, forcing the inquiry into the town’s buried past. Anaswara Rajan joins Ali in a cast that also includes Manoj K. Jayan and Siddique, as the film moves between present-day police work and long-suppressed clues.
