Hannibal Rising

ActionAdventureCrimeDramaHorrorThrillerWar121 min

After witnessing wartime atrocities as a boy in Lithuania, Hannibal Lecter resurfaces in 1950s France as a brilliant medical student with memories he can’t leave buried. Gaspard Ulliel is the young Lecter, charting the years before the polished monster of the later films, while Gong Li appears in his French chapter as he moves into a more cultivated world. The story follows Hannibal from a frozen, devastated childhood through postwar Europe, where grief, hunger, and vengeance begin to harden into something far more methodical.
