The Deliverance
DramaHorrorMysteryThriller112 min
Ebony Jackson is a struggling single mother who moves her family into an Indiana house hoping for a fresh start, but the reset quickly unravels when strange events inside the home draw the attention of Child Protective Services. Andra Day is Ebony, trying to hold her children together while her own personal demons and the threat in the house start to merge. Inspired by the Ammons haunting case, Lee Daniels’ film also brings Glenn Close and Mo’Nique into a story where a family’s private crisis becomes tangled with mounting fears of something demonic inside the home.
