The same corpse turns up on a London street in 1890, 1941, 2023, and 2053, pulling four detectives in four different eras into a single murder case that stretches across 150 years. As each investigation begins to mirror the others, the trail points toward Stephen Graham’s Elias Mannix, an enigmatic political figure whose influence seems tied to every timeline. Jacob Fortune-Lloyd is among the officers trying to make sense of a crime that refuses to stay in its own century. Moving between gaslit alleys, wartime London, the present day, and a near future, the series folds police work into conspiracy and time-spanning mystery.
