After a diamond heist and a stolen identity buy her a new life as a diplomat’s wife in Paris, Laure Ash is exposed when a tabloid photographer snaps her picture. Rebecca Romijn is Laure, a woman who has already gambled everything once and now finds old enemies closing in for the money, the secret behind it, or both. Antonio Banderas enters as the photographer drawn into her orbit as her past resurfaces. Directed by Brian De Palma, the film threads blackmail, seduction, voyeurism, and mistaken identity through a glossy Paris backdrop.
