Heartbreak Ridge

DramaWar130 min

Clint Eastwood is Gunnery Sergeant Tom Highway, a decorated Marine near retirement who returns to his old base and takes command of a recon platoon full of swagger, resentment, and no discipline. He spends as much time battling his own officers as he does drilling recruits, while his attempts to reconnect with the ex-wife he left behind bring Marsha Mason into the middle of the fight. As Highway tries to turn the unit into soldiers, training and base politics give way to combat during the U.S. invasion of Grenada.
