After becoming a zombie, medical student Liv Moore takes a job at Seattle’s coroner’s office so she can secretly feed on brains without losing what’s left of her humanity. Rose McIver is Liv, whose meals come with flashes of the victim’s memories, turning her into an unlikely asset on murder cases. With Malcolm Goodwin’s detective Clive Babineaux and medical examiner Ravi Chakrabarti, played by Rahul Kohli, she uses those visions to investigate deaths while hiding her condition from the people who knew her before.
