FernGully: The Last Rainforest

ActionAdventureAnimationFamilyFantasyMusical76 min

Crysta, a fairy who has grown up believing humans are extinct, discovers otherwise when a logging crew reaches FernGully, the magical Australian rainforest she calls home. Samantha Mathis is the curious sprite, whose accidental spell shrinks a young man named Zak (Jonathan Ward) to fairy size and forces him to see the damage from inside the forest itself. As Zak joins Crysta and the other woodland creatures against the lumberjacks, the machines also awaken Hexxus, a pollution-feeding spirit voiced by Tim Curry. The story folds songs, magic, and an environmental warning into its animated adventure.
