Paris

ComedyDramaRomance130 min

Pierre is a professional dancer whose life stalls when a serious heart condition forces him to stop working and wait for a transplant. Romain Duris is Pierre, watching the city from the balcony of his Paris apartment as his sister Élise moves in to care for him; Juliette Binoche brings Élise’s mix of worry, irritation, and loyalty into focus. From Pierre’s window and through Élise’s daily rounds, the story widens to the people around them — neighbors, co-workers, market vendors, students, and families moving through Paris with their own romances, disappointments, and private upheavals.
