The Hunger
DramaHorror97 min
Catherine Deneuve is Miriam, a five-thousand-year-old vampire moving through 1980s New York with her lover John, a cellist she once promised eternal life. When John suddenly begins to age, Miriam’s bargain starts to unravel, and he seeks help from Dr. Sarah Roberts, a doctor studying the mechanisms of aging. Susan Sarandon’s Sarah is pulled into Miriam’s orbit as the story turns from nightclub seduction to a tense triangle built around immortality, desire, and the physical cost of both.
