When their pension disappears and the bills keep coming, three lifelong friends decide the bank that took their money is the bank they’ll rob. Michael Caine is Joe, one of the retirees pushed into an unlikely heist, while Morgan Freeman’s Willie joins him in a plan born as much from desperation as revenge. The setup turns on men who’ve spent their lives on the straight and narrow suddenly studying getaway routes, bank routines, and how far they’re willing to go for the people who count on them.
