The Little Mermaid
ActionAdventureFamilyFantasyMusicalRomance135 min
Halle Bailey is Ariel, the youngest and most defiant daughter of King Triton, a mermaid princess fascinated by the world above the sea. After a visit to the surface leaves her drawn to Prince Eric, Ariel defies a ban on contact with humans and turns to Ursula (Melissa McCarthy), a sea witch who offers her a chance to live on land at a steep price. Javier Bardem’s Triton looms over the conflict as Ariel’s choice puts both her life and her father’s crown at risk, with the story moving between underwater kingdoms, shoreline romance, and court tension.
