In Harlem, four teenage friends decide to go bigger than petty crime when Bishop pushes them toward a convenience-store robbery. Omar Epps is Q, the one with plans beyond the block: he wants to be a DJ, and a club gig lands on the same night as the job. Tupac Shakur's Bishop is magnetic and increasingly volatile, turning a reckless idea into a test of loyalty for Q, Steel, and Raheem. The story stays close to their friendships and ambitions as one decision pulls the group into violence they can't shrug off.
