The Dark and the Wicked
Horror95 min
As their father lies dying on the family’s isolated Texas farm, siblings Louise and Michael return home to help their mother and find a dread already in the house. Marin Ireland’s Louise and Michael (Michael Abbott Jr.) are pulled into days of mounting grief, waking nightmares, and signs that whatever has settled over the farm is moving through the family itself. The story stays close to the farmhouse and its empty fields, where ordinary chores, sickroom vigils, and family mourning start to blur with possession.
