This Time with Alan Partridge
ComedyTalk Show30 min per episode
Alan Partridge lands a seat on a live daytime magazine show and tries to turn a temporary hosting job into a full return to national TV. Each episode drops him into the polished chaos of human-interest segments, celebrity interviews, consumer features, and breaking-news handoffs, where his need to sound authoritative keeps colliding with poor judgment and bad timing. Behind the sofa-chat warmth and upbeat studio format, Alan treats every item as a chance to promote himself, unsettle his co-host, and prove he still belongs on air. Steve Coogan’s broadcaster is trapped in a workplace built on smooth teamwork, while he keeps making it about Alan.
