Dan in Real Life
ComedyDramaRomance98 min
Steve Carell is Dan Burns, an advice columnist whose calm guidance on love doesn’t help much at home, where he’s struggling as a brother, a son, and a single father to three outspoken daughters. When Dan meets Marie (Juliette Binoche) and feels an immediate connection, the situation turns awkward fast: she’s his brother’s new girlfriend. With Dane Cook in the middle of the family tangle, the story keeps circling Dan’s uneasy split between the wise voice he puts on paper and the far messier relationships in his own life.
