Bottoms

Comedy92 min

At the bottom of the high school social order, best friends PJ and Josie start a self-defense club with a hidden agenda: getting closer to cheerleaders and finally losing their virginity. Rachel Sennott's PJ pushes the plan forward with reckless confidence, while Ayo Edebiri's Josie is just as desperate and a little less sure of herself. What begins as a sham after-school scheme quickly spirals when the club catches on, and suddenly the school's most popular girls are throwing punches in the name of empowerment. Ruby Cruz and Havana Rose Liu are among the cheerleaders at the center of the chaos.
