In the mountains of Afghanistan, a four-man Navy SEAL team on a covert mission is forced into an impossible decision that leaves them exposed and under attack. Mark Wahlberg is Marcus Luttrell, one of the men caught in the fallout when the operation goes wrong, with Taylor Kitsch, Emile Hirsch, and Ben Foster rounding out the unit. Eric Bana's commander oversees the mission from afar as the firefight spreads across steep terrain and hostile territory. Based on a true story, the film follows the team’s unraveling at close range, from surveillance assignment to desperate fight for survival.
