The Womb

DramaFamilyHorrorMysteryThriller116 min

Short on money and without a place to live, a pregnant woman accepts shelter from an affluent older couple who offer to care for her and her unborn child. Naysila Mirdad is the expectant mother at the center of the arrangement, while Lydia Kandou and Rukman Rosadi are the polished, secretive pair taking her in. Their interest soon points toward their only son, played by Dimas Anggara, and what seemed like a lifeline starts to look like something far more controlling. Inside the couple’s home, motherhood, family lineage, and traditional belief turn the offer of protection into a trap.
