Candy

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller52 min per episode

In 1980 Texas, Candy Montgomery is a housewife and mother with a husband, two kids, and the polished suburban life she’s supposed to want. Jessica Biel is Candy, whose careful routines and quiet transgressions collide when a neighbor’s death turns her into the focus of a murder case. Melanie Lynskey joins Biel in a story built around domestic pressure, strained marriages, and the demand to stay agreeable no matter what’s building underneath. Working from a real case, the series keeps close to the details of home, family, and reputation as an orderly life gives way to a notorious crime.
