The Office

ComedyDrama30 min per episode

At the Slough branch of paper company Wernham Hogg, a documentary crew records the small humiliations, power plays, and dead time of office life. Manager David Brent, played by Ricky Gervais, is desperate to be liked and admired, turning meetings, jokes, and motivational speeches into awkward spectacles for his staff. Around him, employees try to get through the workday, protect their jobs, and navigate petty rivalries and stalled ambitions while the cameras keep rolling. What unfolds is less a workplace success story than a steady accumulation of cringe, disappointment, and everyday absurdity, as ordinary office routines become painfully revealing.
