When his 21-year relationship falls apart, Fikret finds himself pulled into someone else’s family drama after meeting Solmaz, a tavern singer whose own breakup lands on the same day. Engin Günaydın is Fikret, suddenly asked to stand in as a father figure for Solmaz’s daughter just as her wedding approaches, while Demet Evgar’s Solmaz tries to hold the situation together. Set in Adana, the film builds its comedy around a hastily improvised family arrangement, with Fikret navigating a role he never expected to take on.
