ActionAdventureCrimeThriller98 min

Undercover in a newly reopened Alcatraz, FBI agent Petrosevitch (Steven Seagal) is trying to uncover information tied to his wife's killers when a death-row inmate's hidden $200 million in gold turns the prison into a war zone. Morris Chestnut leads the commando force that storms the island, takes hostages, and tries to force the condemned man to give up the stash. Trapped inside, Petrosevitch has to navigate armed mercenaries, prison chaos, and an uneasy alliance with a fellow inmate (Ja Rule) as gunfights and hand-to-hand brawls spread through the fortress.
