The Toxic Avenger

ActionAdventureComedyCrimeHorrorSci-Fi82 min

After a gang’s cruel prank sends health-club janitor Melvin into a vat of toxic waste, the scrawny outcast returns to a corrupt New Jersey town as a deformed vigilante. Bullying, public humiliation, and civic rot sit alongside body horror and slapstick carnage, with street punks, a crooked mayor, and toxic sludge pushing the story into superhero-spoof territory. Mark Torgl is Melvin at the center of the chaos, and Andree Maranda appears alongside him as the movie turns a revenge setup into splattery, offbeat mayhem.
