La maison du bonheur
Comedy100 min
A tightfisted husband decides the answer to family life is a house in the country, setting off a French comedy where a bid to loosen up quickly runs into his own penny-pinching instincts. Dany Boon is the would-be buyer, pushing ahead with a rural dream that sounds simpler than it is, while Michèle Laroque is part of the family he’s trying to win over. Built around the scramble of making a fresh start through one big purchase, the film turns the promise of a peaceful home into a chain of complications, misunderstandings, and domestic friction.
