In Dog's Words
ComedyDrama101 min
In 2007 São Paulo, Santana is a city dogcatcher who keeps his head down, collects stray animals, and avoids trouble at home and on the street. Lázaro Ramos is Santana, a friendly municipal worker whose routine shifts after he picks up a huge dog from a school. Days later, the animal’s owner comes looking for it: Babyface (Babú Santana), an ex-cop who treats the disappearance as a personal insult. When the dog cannot be returned and blame lands on Santana, a bureaucratic job turns into a dangerous conflict, with urban neglect, animal control, and everyday power all pressed into the same dispute.
