Chicago’s Winslow family balances jobs, school, and household chaos, with next-door neighbor Steve Urkel forever dropping in to complicate the day. Reginald VelJohnson and Jo Marie Payton are the parents at the center of the busy home, while Jaleel White is Urkel, the nerdy neighbor whose visits and mishaps keep throwing off the family’s routine. Darius McCrary and Kellie Shanygne Williams round out the younger generation as the series follows a middle-class African American family through everyday conflicts, sibling tensions, and neighborhood life in Chicago.
