Riza, a working-class Turkish man weighed down by money troubles and caught between different social worlds, takes a job as a mall Santa and finds the line between performance and everyday life getting thinner. Yılmaz Erdoğan is Riza, moving through the artificial cheer of a shopping center while the film keeps one foot in the pressures of work, class, and belonging. With Ersin Korkut and Büşra Pekin among the supporting cast, the story uses its Christmas-job premise to look at a man pulled between Westernized urban culture and the harder realities of ordinary life in Turkey.
