Kim's Convenience

Comedy22 min per episode

At a family-run convenience store in downtown Toronto, the Korean-Canadian Kim family juggles regular customers, neighborhood gossip, and the harder business of keeping their adult children close. Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is Appa, a proud shop owner still carrying the fallout of a long-ago break with his son Jung, while Andrea Bang’s Janet is trying to build a life that isn’t defined by the store. Between Appa and Umma’s expectations and Jung’s estrangement, everyday errands, family dinners, and small disputes keep turning into arguments about work, independence, and what the Kims owe one another.
