Poison

ComedyDramaThriller17 min

When a poisonous snake settles on an Englishman’s stomach in India, the only option is to stay perfectly still while help is called and every move is weighed. Benedict Cumberbatch is the man trapped in bed, with Dev Patel’s anxious associate trying to keep control as Ben Kingsley’s doctor is summoned for a risky bedside intervention. Directed by Wes Anderson, the film turns a single room and a simple emergency into a tightly wound standoff, where politeness, fear, and calculation sit inches from a strike.
