A sub-inspector trainee reopens a 16-year-old case that has sat unsolved long enough to become part rumor, part dead end. What begins as a determined look into old records turns into a search that pulls him through forgotten leads, damaged memories, and people who would rather leave the past buried. As he follows the trail, the distance between routine police work and personal obsession starts to shrink. The case keeps shifting under him, and each answer seems to point toward another hidden piece. Arulnithi leads the investigation at the center of a story where fate keeps pushing the past back into the present.
