After his young son is killed in a gang crossfire on Christmas Eve, a father survives the shooting but loses his voice and reshapes his life around revenge. Joel Kinnaman is the grieving man at the center, recovering from his injuries and driving himself through a punishing training regimen as he tracks the gang responsible. Directed by John Woo, the film uses minimal dialogue and keeps its focus on grief, preparation, and retaliation. Catalina Sandino Moreno and Kid Cudi appear in the supporting cast as the aftermath of the shooting closes in around him.
