After the chairman of South Korea’s largest crime syndicate is killed, an undercover cop finds himself trapped between a police operation and the organization he has spent years infiltrating. Lee Jung-jae is Ja-sung, a weary inside man whose position becomes more precarious as the gang’s top figures start maneuvering for control. Choi Min-sik’s section chief Kang sees the succession fight as a chance to tighten the screws from the outside, even as Ja-sung’s loyalties and survival are pushed in opposite directions. The film moves through boardrooms, back rooms, and gangland politics with a sharp corporate-crime angle.
