Detective K: Secret of Virtuous Widow
ActionAdventureComedyCrimeDramaMystery115 min
In 1782 Joseon, Detective K is sent by King Jeong-jo to investigate a string of murders that appear to be tied to corruption inside the government. Kim Myung-min is the sharp, self-assured investigator at the center of the case, following clues from crime scenes into the world of court politics and hidden dealings. As the inquiry spreads beyond a single killing, the film balances period detail with slapstick comedy and mystery plotting. Oh Dal-su and Han Ji-min join Kim in a story that moves between royal orders, criminal intrigue, and a detective trying to untangle who benefits from the chaos.
