Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror
FantasyHorror95 min
A happily married real estate agent heads into the Transylvanian mountains to finalize a sale with the reclusive Count Orlok, only to find that his client is no ordinary nobleman. Max Schreck’s Orlok — bald, gaunt, and almost insect-like — turns a simple property deal into an encounter with vampirism, plague, and dread that spreads beyond the castle walls. Opposite him, Gustav von Wangenheim gives the young agent a plainspoken center as F.W. Murnau shapes the story through silent-film gesture, stark shadows, uncanny landscapes, and the ominous image of a coffin-laden ship moving toward shore.
