In the summer of 1984, neighborhood conspiracy theorist Davey Armstrong starts to suspect that the police officer next door may be the serial killer dominating the local news. Graham Verchere is Davey, who pulls his three best friends into a backyard investigation built on bikes, cameras, and walkie-talkies. Across the street, Rich Sommer’s Officer Mackey is both a trusted adult and the center of their growing suspicion. As the boys comb their quiet suburban block for clues, their secret surveillance pushes them closer to answers than they expected — and into danger they can’t control.
